Pender Harbour Secondary serves approximately 75 students from Grades 7 to 12. Our catchment area extends from Halfmoon Bay, Madeira Park to Egmont. Our small size allows for greater one to one support from staff and creates a real "family feel" within the building. We provide a full academic program including Fine and Performing Arts, a full shop program and technology integration in the classroom. In addition, a focus on Personalized Learning allows students greater self-direction over their school program in a supported environment.

Inclement Weather Updates

Course Selection Info Night

Inclement Weather Updates

During the time of the season when inclement weather may affect the safety and welfare of students and, in particular, when snowy weather has the potential to cause classes to be postponed or some School District No. 46 services to be suspended, current information will be updated continuously on the SD46 website, Twitter and Facebook page. The Superintendent of Schools will also provide 91.7 Coast FM with information about the status of our facilities and transportation services by 7:00 AM, if there is a concern. Please note that if the SD46 website hasn't been updated on a particular day, please tune in to Coast FM for updates.

We will also update parents using our school APP: MYPHSS can be downloaded from the App store or Google play.

We are looking to organize the next Sakinaw Spring Break Trip which would take place next year. We will be holding a info session for students and parents who are interested in attending. This trip falls in line with our school goal of providing unique field experiences for our students to be able to "live the learning". The date of the meeting will be February 25, 2019 @ 7:30.
Course Selection Info Night

Please join us for Course Selection Info night on February 25th
2019 @ 5:30pm. Our counsellor, Tulani Pierce , and Mr Lekakis will be outlining the Course Selection Process for parents before students undergo their course requests.
Students will also be having grade level presentations by Ms Pierce and staff outlining some of the courses we would like to offer or be available for students to request.
